Romania’s furniture exports, up almost 10%

Furniture exports increased by 9.7% in the first six months of the year compared to the same period last year, reaching over EUR 1.1 billion, according to the Romanian Furniture Manufacturers’ Association (APMR).

Romanian industrial production up by 2.7 pct in August compared with 2015

The industrial production increased by 1.8 percent in the euro area in August 2016, compared with August 2015, due to production of durable consumer goods rising by 4.9 percent, capital goods by 2.6 percent, intermediate goods by 2.0 percent and energy by 1.5 percent, while production of non-durable consumer goods dropped by 0.1 percent.

Two logistics companies opened intermodal terminal in Oradea
