According to the latest report published by WDP, it is a total area of over 32,000 square meters with a value of 16 million euros. Furthermore, WDP leased the purchased premises for 15-20 year terms to Taparo and Techtex (through a sell-and-rent-back contract), and the Belgians are planning an expansion on the purchased land.
Taparo and Techtex, owned by the Filip family, had three production halls in their ownership - in Cicârlău (near Baia Mare), in Osorhei (near Oradea) and in Târgu-Lăpuş (Maramureş county). After the sale of two of them, they were left with only the unit near Oradea.
