Knauf Insulation takes over the Gecsat glass mineral wool factory in Romania

Knauf Insulation, one of the largest manufacturers of insulation solutions in the world and part of the German Knauf group, acquired the Gecsat SA glass mineral wool factory, from Târnăveni, Mureș County.

Following the takeover of the factory, Knauf Insulation has started an extensive modernization process to bring the space and production line to Knauf standards and to be able to produce glass mineral wool of the highest quality and environmentally friendly.
